* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected, due to
additional rainfall.

* WHERE...Southern Washoe County in western Nevada, including SR-447
and Nixon.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 559 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Nixon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE EASTERN SIERRA AND WESTERN
NEVADA THROUGH 730 PM PDT...

At 528 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong storms
forming across the eastern Sierra and western Nevada. Storms will
continue to form and move northeast this evening.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carson City, Fallon, Mammoth Lakes, Bodie, Chalfant, Crowley Lake,
Virginia City, Benton, June Lake, Pyramid Lake, Bridgeport, Lee
Vining, Twin Lakes, Lahontan Reservoir, Toms Place, Mono Lake,
Coleville, Topaz Lake, Fernley, and Dayton.

Reno-Carson City-Minden Area. This includes the Bug and Stallion
Fires.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in rock, mud, and debris
flows in and near active fire perimeters, steep terrain, and poorly
drained urban areas.
